Georgia at Notre Dame

This is a high total for two strong defenses. Georgia returns 10 starters on defense, holding Appalachian State to 10 points in a Week 1 victory. However, the offense lost sophomore QB Jacob Eason. He has a sprained knee ligament and will be sidelined for a while, so freshman Jake Fromm is now the starter. Georgia is on an 18-6 run UNDER the total, including 13-3 UNDER against winning teams. Notre Dame is in bounce-back mode after an embarrassing 4-8 campaign and the defense returns seven starters. That defense allowed 16 points and 2.3 yards per rushing last week against Temple. Offenses are behind the defenses in September and the Irish offense went dormant for a long stretch after jumping to a 28-3 lead early in the second quarter. The Fighting Irish are home and 29-14 UNDER the total following a victory, while Georgia is 20-7 UNDER on the road in September contests. This one stays UNDER.
