Georgia at Mississippi State

Georgia has won 8+ games 13 straight years. They have gotten off on the wrong foot this year, starting 1-2. It is hard to see this team looking down the barrel of 1-3 on the season and I expect a top-notch effort from them here. The good news for them is that they get an opponent that they have owned for a long time. Georgia has won the last nine meetings vs. Mississippi State, who haven't raised the victory flag vs. Georgia since 1974. Mississippi State is unsettled at QB as Relf and Russell have been splitting time, but Relf went down vs. LSU and his status is questionable here. The problem is that they have combined for seven INTs and Georgia will be feasting in the secondary for the inexperienced QBs. Mississippi State is just 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games, and have not had a good team in quite some time. So, laying points here is questionable. Georgia has faced some stiff competition the last two games in S. Carolina and Arkansas so their 0-2 SEC start isn't as bad as it looks. They are 13-1 ATS in their last 14 games following back-to-back losses. I like Georgia here.
