The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets under Paul Johnson have proven that the triple-option offense, or flex-bone can be run at high level conference opponents with success. That has not been quite the case this season, as the Tech offense is a step down, and the numbers running the ball have been about the worst we have seen in the Paul Johnson era at Tech. Georgia is also coming off a game against Georgia Southern, another triple-option team, that they defended very well, and teams that see the triple-option twice in the same season usually defend it better the second time, especially in back-to-back games. Georgia runs the ball a lot themselves, and this is going to be a quick game with the ball on the ground a lot, as these teams combine to run the ball 67.1% of the time. Both have been efficient at stopping the run, so I can see a lot of stalled drives here resulting in punts or field goals, and a lower-scoring game than expected the result. Play on the UNDER.
