Fresno State vs. Washington State

Fresno State is riding an eight-game winning streak. They lost senior QB Jake Haener (18 TDs, 3 INTs) for much of October but he's back helping the Bulldogs to a 7-0 SU, 5-2 ATS run. He threw for 286 in last year's bowl win over UTEP, 31-24, as Fresno rolled up 467 yards. The Bulldog defense has been strong all season, 34th in the nation in yards allowed and 26th in points (21.6 pg). Coach Jeff Tedford has won seven of 10 bowl games. Fresno State is 31-15 ATS after three consecutive wins versus conference rivals, plus 27-12 ATS after gaining 125 or fewer rushing yards in back-to-back contests. Washington State is one-dimensional asking sophomore QB Cameron Ward (40 sacks) to carry the offense as they don't run much, while the defense surrenders 405 yards per game. And college football teams like Fresno State that have allowed 17 or fewer points in three straight games are 54-25 ATS when facing an opponent that comes off of a loss by 17 or more points.
