Fresno State at San Jose State

The Fresno State Bulldogs seem to field a quality team year after year. San Jose State is the opposite. As a result, over 80% of the public bets are coming in on the big road favorite in this one. I question the large number on the road because of the fact that this Bulldogs team is surrendering over 28 points per game. That means that they will have to really be scoring in this one to pull off the ATS win. It has shown up already as they have failed to get the money in each of their three games posted as a double-digit favorite. San Jose State has played the absolute brutalist schedule in the country including Alabama, Boise State, Nevada, Utah and Wisconsin! Those are five of the best teams in the country, so it's no real surprise that San Jose State has maanged just 9 points per game. Fresno State has not been one to take on big numbers with success as they are just 5-17-1 ATS in their last 23 as a favorite of 10.5 or more. The home team has gotten the money in four of the last five in this series. I like San Jose St. to stay inside a big number, delivering the cover.
