Fresno State at New Mexico

These teams have certainly changed some since last season, but Fresno State put a whooping on New Mexico as they beat them 69-28. That was after calling off the dogs into the third quarter! Fresno State went for an unbelievable 820 yards in that game, but the question that remains is have theses teams changed so much that Fresno is now less than a TD favorite? I hardly think so. New Mexico has to be feeling their oats after losing to a poor New Mexico State team - an instate rival last week. Their biggest problem is a defense that can't stop anyone. New Mexico has allowed 304 points in their last six games, going back to last season, and are 1-5 ATS during the six-game span and 0-3 ATS this year. Fresno State should benefit from two games against PAC-12 teams and a Big-10 team already, and they cashed in big last week. The gap has closed between these teams, but not by nearly enough for New Mexico to hang within a TD here. Lay the points on Fresno State.
