The Wolf Pack had their best team ever a year ago. Many thought that with some-high caliber departures including do-everything QB Colin Kaepernick, the Pack would struggle this season, especially on offense. Tyler Lathrop and Cody Fajardo have combined to throw for 1,364 yards so far and Fajardo has given them something Kaepernick did not with his ability to be a dual threat, running for 8.5 yards per tote. Fresno State will be playing for the eighth straight week and have been dinged-up facing some top teams on their way to a 3-4 mark. They are now just 1-6 ATS in October games as the depth is challenged. They gave it up big on the ground last week, not a good recipe vs. Nevada. When following a game where they allowed 200+ on the ground, the Bulldogs have come up empty at just 15-34-2 ATS in their last 51. The Pack is flexing home-field superiority at 18-6 ATS vs. teams with a losing record. And, Nevada is 8-1 ATS the past three seasons when facing weak defenses like Fresno's (teams allowing 6+ yards per play). Under Christ Ault, the Wolf Pack are 29-13 ATS at home including 23-7 ATS as a home favorite. Take Nevada and lay the points.
