Fresno State at Nevada

Four of the last five meetings have gone UNDER and last year's meeting barely went OVER by three points in Fresno State's 41-21 victory. The Bulldogs have a superb defense this year as it allows only 18.8 points per game and it even held high-scoring Toledo to a relatively low 27 points in Saturday's 49-27 win and that was after holding UCLA and Minnesota to a combined 35 points their previous two games. Fresno State gives up 314.8 total yards per game and it returned all its linebackers and defensive backs from last year's great defensive squad. The Wolf Pack has not scored more than 30 points the last three meetings and it went UNDER by 10 points in its 28-25 win at Air Force last week. Nevada scored only 10 points against Vanderbilt earlier in the season and the defense it'll face today is just as good. The Wolf Pack defense did hold the Falcons to just 154 yards on 3.0 yards per carry, which is decent against the option offense. Nevada starting quarterback, Ty Gangi, has a leg injury and is questionable. The UNDER is 13-3 in the Bulldogs' last 16 conference games and 20-6-1 UNDER their last 27 following a win. Also, Fresno State is 6-2 UNDER its last eight road contests. Play the UNDER.
