It has been a long season for Randy Edsel and his Terrapins. Maryland has had QB injuries to the point of using the fifth-team QB -a converted linebacker! That doesn't present itself well vs. a Florida State team that really gets after it on defense. I wouldn't be surprised if Maryland does not find the end-zone in this game. The Terps have a very good defense, but it is wearing down because they are on the field way too much, as the offense continues to struggle. They face a huge challenge in trying to stop a Seminoles offense that generates over 500 yards per contest. Maryland gave-up 45 points last week to Clemson who has a similar potent offense, so I can easily see the ‘Noles getting there and more in this one. Under Randy Edsall, the Terps are just 2-9 ATS at home and 1-13 ATS following a loss. Maryland wasn't good to begin with, but with a converted linebacker at QB against one of the nation’s top defenses is too much to ask here, even as a huge home dog. Play on Florida State.
