Florida State at Georgia Tech

Head coach Mike Norvell has built an excellent program in four years at Florida State. They won every conference game in 2023, and have a boatload of talent. Former Clemson QB D.J. Uiagalelei will be behind center returning to the ACC. He is joined by former LSU WR Jalen Brown, and Alabama transfers offensive lineman Terrence Ferguson and WR Malik Benson. Georgia Tech's offense will be fine but the defense was terrible. The defense not only lost three of its best players, but the entire coaching staff was sacked. New defensive coordinator Tyler Santucci is trying a 4-2-5 base that is still short of playmakers. The Yellow Jackets allowed 221.3 yards rushing per game. They lost to Boston College, 38-23, surrendering 563 yards (308 rushing), allowed 575 yards to North Carolina, and 260 rushing yards to Clemson. They also lost to Bowling Green, 38-27, as a 21-point favorite. Play Florida State.
