The Florida International Golden Panthers have had little to no success on the road where they are 1-10 straight-up in their last 11 road tilts. They are 0-3 straight up this season on the road, losing by 16 points per game on average. It’s hard to be bullish on them as a road chalk in any spot. Taking a longer look, they are 4-30 straight up on the road vs. Div-1 competition since joining the ranks. North Texas hasn't had it show up in the win column yet, but they are a much better team than they were a year ago. The defense which ranked No. 98 a year ago, allowing 35.6 points per game, is up to No. 60, having shaved nine points per game off their defensive average. This is a team that has been highly competitive at home over the last 2+ years. In their last 10 home games, the Mean Green have won just once, but seven of the other nine were lost by 5 points or less. The Golden Panthers come into this one with a 1-6 ATS mark in their last seven conference games, and just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 overall. Under head coach Todd Dodge, this North Texas team is 9-2 ATS following back-to-back ATS losses. The Mean Green are usually in it to the end at home, so the points here loom large.
