The SEC is brutally unforgiving with tough games all season long and this one figures to be all of that. The Gators have a very powerful defense, and finally have a decision at QB as Jeff Driskel took most of the snaps last week. Despite being sacked eight times, he is taking care of the ball. The Gators’ defense shutout a pretty strong Aggies’ offense in the second half last week to pull out a come-from-behind 20-17 win. When you have a side that is capable of dominating a game like the Gators’ defense you’re certainly in a good place when playing as a dog. Tennessee is an improving team that has a good offense, but will be severely tested this week. Florida has won seven straight in this series, and the Vols have averaged just 46 yards on the ground in the contests, which won't get it done here. What stands out is the fact that the team that has rushed for more yards in this series is 20-2 straight-up the last 22 years. The Volunteers have not taken advantage of home turf, as they are 0-7 ATS in their last seven at home vs. a team with a winning road record. Play on the Gators in this one.
