This is what SEC football is all about: a pair of heavyweights ready to slug it out. Florida comes into this contest playing big on defense, while the offense has now turned to the backup with after the starter suffered a season-ending injury. LSU is a powerhouse offense, and down a bit defensively. QB Zach Mettenberger has really matured, and is throwing for over 11 yards per attempt on the season with 15 TDs and just two INTs. That has opened the door for Jeremy Hill to run for 7.5 yards per carry, and the Tigers are a force to contend with on offense. The Gators fell short at Miami simply because the offense is not good enough. And as good as the defense is, Miami went for 21, and this LSU offense is far superior. The Gators are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11, and the Tigers now 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 after rushing for 200+ in their previous contest. Play on LSU.
