The Florida Gators have now lost three straight games for the first time since the 1988-89 season. Will it be four? Georgia has gotten on track after a poor 1-4 start to claw even at 4-4. Georgia has beaten the three teams at the bottom of the SEC East standings. With their fourth win against UL Lafayette, they certainly haven't beaten a team of the caliber of Florida. And they have lost to a really bad team in Colorado. I expect Urban Meyer to remind his team how long it has been since a Florida team lost four straight. It isn't like the Gators are losing to cupcakes - it's quite the contrary. The last three losses for Florida have been to teams that have a combined record of 20-4, and Georgia simply isn't on that level. This is a live dog here in the Gators. While the Gators appear to be uncompetitive coming off three straight losses and the Bulldogs appearing to be on the rise with three straight wins, it's more complicated than that. The Bulldogs are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. a team with a winning record, while Florida comes in at 15-6-1 ATS after allowing 20 or less points in their last game. Under Urban Meyer, teh Gators are 16-4 ATS as an underdog! They are also 16-3 ATS coming off a bye. Meanwhile, the Richt-led Bulldogs are only 5-13 ATS when coming off a double-digit road win. Florida takes this one.
