Florida Atlantic at Southern Miss

Florida Atlantic has a losing road mark but is a big road favorite here. They haven't played at home since November 20 and come off a 20-3 defeat at Georgia Southern as chalk on Saturday, so they are playing with little rest. Despite a winning record, Florida Atlantic is one of the worst offenses in the nation averaging 18.4 points and 329 total yards. They've failed to cover four of five against losing teams and face a Southern Miss squad that is home and playing hard. Three games ago they beat North Alabama, 24-13, at home, and the last two games they've lost close ones to Western Kentucky (10-7) as an 8-point dog and to Texas-San Antonio (23-20) as a 9-point dog.
