#22 Nebraska is coming off a 9-4 campaign and has a favorable early season schedule to get off to a good start. Five starters are back on offense, and seven on defense. Sophomore QB Tommy Armstrong started eight games last fall and the ground game is solid with senior RB Ameer Abdullah (1,137 and 1,690 yards the last two years). The Cornhuskers were one of the nation's top pass-rushing defenses for hard driving Coach Bo Pelini. Nebraska has opened with cupcakes the last five years and went 4-1 ATS winning by scores of 49-3, 49-10, 40-7 and 49-20. And speaking of cupcakes, Florida Atlantic is in town. They had a weak offense last season and lost step-up games to Miami and Auburn by 28 and 35 points. For this season they have a new coach and playbook with Charlie Partridge and open at Nebraska and Alabama. And guess who the new coach replaced? Carl Pelini, the brother of Bo, who was fired last year by Florida Atlantic in an ugly divorce. Think Bo wants to rub it in after they dismissed his brother? Play Nebraska.
