Florida Atlantic at Illinois

This will be the first meeting between FAU and Illinois. The Owls have faced four Big-10 opponents and have yet to win any, as they are 0-4 SU. However, the Owls have been very competitive as they have gone 3-1 ATS. The Owls played at Purdue last season as a +16 point dog and lost the game by just 2 points. QB Luke Altmyer threw four INTs for Illinois last week and was replaced by Ball St. transfer John Paddock. This is the role in which FAU Coach Tom Herman thrives. His team is now 17-7 ATS as a dog.
