Florida Atlantic at Charlotte

After a brutal early-season schedule, Florida Atlantic has turned things around winning two of three. That included a 56-14 win at South Florida in their last road game as an underdog. In September, they lost at Illinois of the Big 10 just 23-17 as a +16 underdog. Charlotte has lost five of six with a poor offense. They've scored 26 points in three conference contests, the fewest points scored by an American Athletic Conference squad. Charlotte ranks 117th in the country in total yards and 130th in points scored (13 points per game), while the run defense is 73rd surrendering 153.5 yards per game. The Owls gave up 48 to powerhouse Clemson and 36 to UTSA last week, but in their other games this team has held their opponents to 20, 18, 23, 17 and 14 points. Charlotte hasn't topped 25 points and over their last four games, they have scored 7, 16, 0 and 10 points. Dating back to last season, the 49ers are 9-2 UNDER in conference play, and since Tom Herman took over for the Owls, they are 15-5 UNDER as a favorite in the 3.5 to 10 point range.
