This is certainly not the top of the Sun Belt squaring off in this one. Both of these teams are weak on both sides of the ball. The Owls young offense has struggled but they should find some success vs. Arkansas State who has allowed 30+ in five of their seven games. The Red Wolves have shown a penchant for being a no-show vs. teams with a losing record where they are a pathetic 6-18 ATS in their last 24 such games. The Owls have come back strong after getting assaulted through the air in their last game, as they are 9-3 ATS in their game following allowing 280+ in the air. This one may not look close, but Arkansas State has shown that this is their Achilles heel. The Red Wolves are just 6-15 ATS the past three seasons when playing on short rest. They have also gone 2-11 ATS after the midway point of the season the past couple of seasons. Under head coach Steve Roberts, they are just 12-22 ATS as a favorite and 15-25 ATS when coming off an ATS win. I like Florida Atlantic to stay inside this number.
