Florida Atlantic at Air Force

Florida Atlantic bounced back from a season-opening loss at Florida to win its next two games against Georgia Southern and FCS-school Fordham, both in convincing fashion. LaJohntay Wester had 10 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown against Fordham, and N'Kosi Perry completed 27 of 43 for 278 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions. Air Force suffered an uncharacteristic loss to Utah State, 49-45, and it soared OVER the total after the Falcons had gone UNDER eight of their previous nine games, including five in a row. FAU had stayed UNDER five of seven games before its win against Fordham. That has made for an inflated posted total for this matchup, and the UNDER is 5-1 in the Owls' past six non-conference games. Air Force is 13-3 UNDER in non-conference games and 5-2 UNDER versus C-USA teams. Florida Atlantic has also covered 10 of its last 13 road games, and the Owls are 26-8 ATS as road underdogs.
