Eastern Michigan at Northern Illinois

After decades of being the doormat of the MAC Conference, the Eastern Michigan football program has come to life. They were even in a Bowl game last year. The offense lost some fire power from last season, but the defense has taken a step forward. The Eagles have not allowed any team to score more than 28 points and combined with limited offense, has led to six games finishing UNDER the total in their first seven. Northern Illinois had a good run in the MAC built on a powerhouse offense, but lately several QB injuries has taken away a lot of their offense. However, defensively this team is elite for a MAC Conference team, holding five of their seven opponents to 17 points or less, and their three MAC opponents to 11 ppg. These teams both can play defense, with limited offenses, and they have combined for 11 of 14 games falling shy of the total. Make the play on the UNDER.
