Eastern Michigan at Kentucky

Eastern Michigan suffered a tough loss in overtime to Ohio last week, but the Eagles are 2-1 and enjoying a renaissance after years of losing largely due to an improved defense.  The Eagles returned eight defensive starters and they have gone UNDER six games in a row, including the final three games of 2016.  Eastern Michigan has allowed an average of only 15.7 points per game this year, including a 16-13 win over Rutgers, a Big 10 school. Offensively, the Eagles gained only 45 yards on 27 carries against the Bobcats, who were held to 3.7 yards per rush themselves.  Kentucky is coming off a bye week after losing a heartbreaker to Florida and three of its four games have gone UNDER.  The Wildcats are allowing just 18.5 points per contest and they held the Gators to 14 points the first three quarters before losing in the final moments of the game.  The UNDER is 12-2 in Eastern Michigan's last 14 games overall and five of its last seven road games have stayed UNDER.  Also, the Eagles are 5-0 UNDER their last five non-conference contests.  Play the UNDER.
