East Carolina vs. UL Lafayette

The East Carolina Pirates closed the season by winning three straight games and five of their last six. When you consider that two of their losses were to North Carolina and South Carolina, this team was 8-2 in their 10 competitive games on the season. UL Lafayette comes into this one with eight wins as well. They have also won their last three games, and their last loss was a competitive one to Florida. UL Lafayette is getting a lot of support in the gambling world, and it all stems from their performance against Florida. I think that these teams are pretty even from the line of scrimmage, with the only advantage coming from the fact that Lafayette will be close to home with this game in the Superdome in New Orleans.
