East Carolina at Central Florida

Conference USA has not fared well early in the season. The 12-team league has just four teams with more than a single win heading into week six. The East Carolina Pirates have the most wins in the East with three, and their two losses were to quality teams in North Carolina and South Carolina. It could be difficult for central Florida to get up for this one as they had a chance to take down a Big-12 team at home last week against Missouri, but were beaten 21-16. Both of these teams crank out less than average on offense, and that could be good news here for East Carolina who surrendered 48 to South Carolina. But in their other four they allowed just 18 points per game which includes North Carolina. So staying within a lofty number here looks good for the Pirates. The Knights have not been a good cover team when off an offensive performance that left them with less than 20 points in their previous game, as they have followed at just 1-5 ATS in their last six. The dog has ruled this series, covering four of the last five. Play on East Carolina.
