Duke will be without two of its top offensive weapons for this game. Quarterback Maalik Murphy (26 TDs, 12 INTs) and running back Star Thomas (871 yards) entered the transfer portal. Redshirt sophomore QB Henry Belin IV has to step in after throwing just one pass. He won't get any help from a Blue Devils ground game that averages just 3.2 yards per rush. The defense got run over by No. 5 Miami surrendering 526 yards (400 passing) in a 53-31 loss. No. 14 Mississippi coach Lane Kiffin is a great recruiter and a poor game manager. He brought in a boatload of talent on a team with high expectations only to lose three close ones as favorites. But this is a game where the talent gap on the field is enormous. Ole Miss has NFL prospects in QB Jaxson Dart (25 TDs, 6 INTs), WR Tre Harris (1,030 yards, 17.2 ypc), cornerback Trey Amos, defensive tackle Walter Nolen, and DE Jared Ivey. The offense is fifth in the country in scoring (37.5 ppg) and third in yards (498.6), while the defense is 21st in total yards allowed and fourth in points given up (15.2 per game). They also have 52 sacks, including 10.5 each for Princely Umanmielen and Suntarine Perkins. Play Mississippi.
