Duke at Georgia Tech

When Paul Johnson came from Navy to Georgia Tech, many said his triple option offense would not stand a chance in the ACC and beyond. That has obviously been proven wrong. That being said, this is not his best offensive team by a long shot. The wins have come against some weak teams in Boston College, Vanderbilt, Mercer, and another team outside the power-5 conference alignment in Georgia Southern. Duke has looked a lot better the last two weeks, and own a win over Notre Dame, and gave Louisville everything they could handle on the road, losing just 24-14. Perhaps the biggest advantage Duke has is that they faced a triple-option team already just two games back, limiting the Black Knights to 165 yards on 43 attempts. That experience will pay dividends here, as teams that have faced an option team on the season tend to do better against it when facing one again later in the season. Take the points on Duke.
