Duke at Baylor

These teams met last year and Duke prevailed 34-20 and it went UNDER by 5.5 points. Baylor went on to a 1-11 season, but returns nine defensive starters to this year's squad. The Bears went OVER their first two games this season, however, it was against Abilene Christian and Texas-San Antonio so this will be the first big test for the Baylor offense. Duke is allowing only 10.5 points per game while defeating Army and Northwestern while scoring an average of 27.5 points itself. The Blue Devils gave up a touchdown to Northwestern in the first quarter and then shut out the Wildcats the rest of the way and Duke scored all 21 points in the second quarter. The Blue Devils were held to 2.5 yards per carry and Northwestern gained only 99 yards on the ground on 32 carries. Duke has eight defensive starters back from a unit that allowed only 20 points per game in 2017 and Northwestern returns seven defensive starters, including three on the line. Duke has stayed UNDER over its last four September games and it's 6-1 UNDER its last seven road contests.
