Connecticut at Syracuse

The Huskies have turned in two straight upsets with wins at home vs. Pittsburgh and West Virginia. Props to them for that. The problem for UCONN is that they have been a very bad road team at 0-4 on the season, losing their last one on the road by a 26-0 count. The Huskies have been outscored in their four road games by a count of 113-50. Syracuse is a team on the rise and has surprised. Any time you can play defense you’re going to win games. Syracuse ranks 8th in the country on defense and should have no problem stuffing a Huskies attack that ranks #88 in the country. Syracuse comes into this one at 11-4 ATS in their last 15 favored by 3.5-10 points and is now 8-2 ATS after scoring less than 20 points in their last game. The Orange are also 35-18 ATS in their last 53 home gaems when coming in off an ATS win. I like Syracuse in this one.
