Connecticut at South Florida

The UConn Huskies may have the worst defense in the FBS. Coach Randy Edsall did make a decision to redshirt 15 freshman a couple of weeks ago, and the Huskies' defense will have more upperclassmen on the defensive side of the ball. The UConn offense lacks playmakers other than QB David Pindell but his effectiveness has diminished since suffering a nagging knee injury and he has been more reluctant to run. South Florida isn't the same offense they were last year and has been held in the 20s on three occasions. The Huskies have totaled just 66 points in five games vs. FBS opponents or 13.2 points per game. This total is going to require South Florida to get into the mid-fifties and in a likely blowout, I don't think starters are going to be around to do it. Play on the UNDER.
