Connecticut is a mammoth underdog but has covered five of its last seven conference tilts, as well as a 4-1 ATS run following a double-digit loss at home. The Huskies have a good quarterback in David Pindell (eight TDs, three INTs), who is their leading rusher with 432 yards, 5.5 yards per carry. Memphis has a weak defense allowing 184.4 yards rushing and 26.6 points per contest. That run defense is #98 in the country. Remember that last season the Tigers' defense finished ranked #117 in the country. The Tigers have been overvalued, on a 1-3 spread run. Last week they were a two-touchdown favorite over Tulane and lost straight up 40-24. A week after South Alabama threw for 360 yards on the Tigers' secondary, Tulane rushed for 318 yards. Back the big dog to keep this far closer than the oddsmakers anticipate. Play the huge points on UConn.
