Connecticut at Maryland

Connecticut has new looks on offense. Their QBs combined for 12 TDs and seven interceptions last fall. They lost All-America guard Christian Haynes on the offensive line along with tight end Justin Joly, their leading receiver with 578 yards, who transferred to NC State. UConn averaged just 17.6 points per game on the road in 2023. Maryland has question marks on offense, as well, with QB Taulia Tagovailoa (25 TDs, 11 INTs) gone. The offense averaged just 3.7 yards per rush. The strength of the defense is a veteran front seven anchored by six seniors and five returning starters.
