Connecticut at East Carolina

The University of Connecticut Huskies are a mess under new Head Coach Bob Diaco. The Huskies have scored fewer points now in three consecutive games, with an offense that was already near the bottom of the FBS. Looking at their last five games, the offense has been responsible for just 53 points, while that same offense, and special teams has allowed opponents 39. That means without the opponents offense on the field the entire game, over a five game stretch, UConn would have won in total by just 14 points. Now they must take a weak pass defense and lineup on the road vs. Shane Carden and East Carolina. Carden has already thrown 16 TDs on the season and over 2,100 yards. The Pirates have also generated over 1000 yards on the ground. UConn owns zero wins vs. FBS teams, and had to hold on for dear life against Stony Brook in their only win of the season 19-16. This one looks like a blowout. Take East Carolina.
