This total certainly is not representative of what these teams bring into the game offensively. The Huskies pulled off a minor miracle a year ago, winning the Big East and playing in a BCS Bowl. Gone from that team is Coach Randy Edsel and a lot of key players. It's no surprise that UConn has struggled this season. They have a QB that is well below BCS Conference standards at this stage of his career. Donald Brown and Jordan Toddman have been replaced by overused back Lyle McCombs. At 175 pounds he has had to carry the offense with 254 carries, but has just 4.4 yards per tote. The Huskies will be clawing againt a Cincinnati defense that has allowed just 15.6 points per game at home this season thanks to returning all but one starter from a year ago. The Bearcats saw their first four games average 70.3 points per game in total points scored. That has changed dramatically as the last seven have seen an average of just 42.7 ppg. They have another issue as Zack Callaros went down with a broken ankle vs. West Virginia and their total in the last three games is now down to 36 ppg. Connecticut is coming off a high-scoring game in which they put up 40 on Rutgers, affecting this line. But, under Paul Pasqualoni, this team 21-7 to the UNDER following a game in which they scored 37+ points. Butch Jones is 11-2 to the UNDER as a favorite in this range (3.5 to 10 points). Take the UNDER here.
