Colorado State at San Jose State

Colorado State used to be an up-and-coming quality program, but they have dropped off significantly in recent years. This year may be the “rock bottom" year for the Rams. Yes, they did beat Colorado a week ago, but Colorado is even worse, as they lost to Sacramento State as a 21-point home favorite last week. Sacramento State has 42 new players this season, and out-gained the Buffalos by well over 100 yards. The narrow win over Colorado shows that the Rams are in that same capacity - a weak team. Following the narrow win, CSU then proceeded to lose at home to a non-FBS team in North Dakota State 22-7. It will be a long season for Rams fans. San Jose State has been there too, as they were 6-32 in their 38 games prior to winning their final two games a year ago. This team is an improving team, and a testament to that is going to Stanford and losing by just 3 points, impressively out-gaining the Cardinal. The Spartans have now covered six straight non-conference games, while the Rams are just 5-17 ATS after gaining 275 yards or less in their last game. Play on San Jose State.
