Colorado State at New Mexico

New Mexico became Bowl eligible last week in amazing and shocking fashion, beating Boise State on the road as a better than 30 point underdog. This week they take on a Colorado State team, which is also just a win shy of Bowl eligibility. It is no secret what New Mexico is going to do. They run the ball 71% of the time and shorten games, as they manage just 65 plays per contest. Colorado State has had trouble with the run all season, so the Lobos could sustain a significant number of drives to really shorten this contest. The problem, however, is this New Mexico team is not running the ball at an elite level, and have topped the 200 yard mark just one time in their last five games, so many opportunities may stall out prior to the end-zone.
