The Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma Sooners and again the Nebraska Cornhuskers get all the ink in the Big-12 while Missouri just waits in the weeds with an under-the-radar team that is going to surprise some people. Blaine Gabbert has lifted the offense with 68.2% accuracy and over 1,000 yards while the running game is pounding out 154 yards per game at five yards a tote. Hopes are up on Colorado after they have already matched their win total from last year. But, let's not get too excited too early. The fact remains that Dan Hawkins has gone 19-34 at CU including 10-22 in conference play. This team is decent at home but horrible on the road. In their lone road game this season, the Buffs lost 52-7 to Cal. They have lost 12 in a row away from home and overall are just 2-19 under Hawkins outside of Boulder. They have gone 5-14 ATS in their last 19 on the road. The Buffaloes are still struggling offensively, having generated less than 4 ypc on the ground. While Tyler Hansen has delivered five TD passes, he has completed five to the wrong team as well. While Georgia would be a big win in any other year - not so impressive this go round. I like Missouri for the win and cover in this one.
