Colorado at Hawaii

Jim Leavitt is the new Defensive Coordinator for Colorado, a fine coach, and has some good pieces to work. Junior Linebacker Addison Gillam is outstanding, and help arrives in defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu, who took 2014 off for personal reasons. Kafovalu will help the Buffaloes up front. The secondary is solid with senior safety Jered Bell being awarded a sixth season of eligibility and cornerback Ken Crawley starting for the fourth straight year. Colorado is 8-2 UNDER the total against the Mountain West Conference and faces a thin Hawaii offense that is in transition with a new offensive coordinator. It will take time for everyone to learn their new roles. And note that Hawaii is 5-2 UNDER the total in September, including a 17-16 opening loss to Washington one year ago.
