Clemson at Wake Forest

Clemson was in a fight for their lives last week when newly inserted starting QB Trevor Lawrence left the game with a head injury. He has been upgraded to probable for this one, but you have to wonder if the injury has some after effects, not just physically but mentally. Wake Forest has had a pair of tough games vs. Notre Dame and Boston College, but they covered for the first time last week, and come in at 3-2. Clemson is 5-0 on the season but has already had two close calls against Texas A&M and Syracuse, where they were held in the 20s. Wake Forest is going to struggle to move the ball in this one as the Clemson defense is allowing a stingy 4.2 yards a play, while the Wake offense is below average on the season in yards per play. Clemson is going to have a big offensive game to get this one over, and with a freshman QB off an injury in his first start, I don't think it happens. Make the play on the UNDER.
