Clemson at South Carolina

Clemson clobbered FCS school The Citadel 61-3 last week, but the Tigers are 5-1-1 UNDER their last seven games against FBS competition. Clemson is seventh in the country in yards allowed (290.2 per game) and third in points allowed (13.9 ppg) and leads the nation in sacks with 3.55 per game. South Carolina gives up just 19.6 points per contest and has stayed UNDER seven of 11 games this season. Offensively, though, the Gamecocks are #88 is scoring offense, #101 in rushing offense and #104 in total offense. The Citadel completed just one pass in four attempts and totaled only 216 yards of offense against the Tigers. The week before, Florida State averaged a minuscule 0.9 yards per carry against the Clemson defense and 229 yards overall.  South Carolina has gone UNDER seven times in a row against teams with winning records and five of its last six after allowing fewer than 20 points its previous game. Also, Clemson has stayed UNDER 18 of its last 25 games after scoring at least 40 points its previous game. In addition, the Gamecocks are 20-8 UNDER after a win dating to prior seasons.
