Clemson at NC State

This is an interesting matchup. The Clemson defense is nothing short of what we expected it to be. The big surprise is from the team that just reloads every year regardless of departures, and that has not been the case with the Clemson offense this season. It may not be as surprising that they were held to three points vs. Georgia, but scoring just 14 against Georgia Tech was stunning. They have managed just 8.5 points per game vs. 2 FBS opponents, so it really looks like a stretch to find them a double-digit road favorite vs. NC State. The Wolfpack is an experienced team with 18 starters returning, and the defense has allowed 10.3 points per game on the season. The Clemson offense hasn't even scored that much, and they are on the road with a young team for the first time. Play NC State.
