Clemson at Louisville

Clemson won the National Championship last season with QB Deshaun Watson and a fierce, fast defense. Watson is off to the NFL but the Tigers defense is still outstanding, allowing nine total points in two games. They shut down Auburn last week for the second year in a row in a 14-6 victory, allowing 38 yards rushing on 42 carries -- 0.9 yards per carry! Clemson's offense, however, is still a work in progress, getting just 185 passing yards and 96 rushing last week, 2.7 ypc. The Tigers' defensive front, anchored by All-America candidates Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence at tackle, and Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell at end, is one of the best in the country. Clemson had 11 sacks against Auburn last Saturday. Clemson is 22-10 UNDER the total on the road after playing two straight home contests. This total is high because Louisville has dynamic QB Lamar Jackson, but this Clemson defense is loaded with speed and star power. Take the UNDER.
