Cincinnati vs. Vanderbilt

The Big East Title was right in the hands of the Bearcats at 3-0, but then two straight losses and it was over despite winning their last two. When you have teams like Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida on your schedule you have to fight your way into a Bowl and Vanderbilt did exactly that. They beat their only Big East opponent in Connecticut, and closed the season with a 41-7 thrashing of another Bowl team on the road vs. Wake Forest. Cincinnati has the glamour numbers at 9-3, but what would they have done in the ACC? A 5-point loss vs. Georgia and a 3-point loss to Arkansas have to rank above any win Cincinnati had this season. Despite the power-laden schedule, no team scored more than 34 points on Vandy all season, so they might not have pretty numbers, but they can play a little. The Bearcats are just 5-12 ATS following a win and have struck out in their last four Bowl games at 0-4 ATS. The Commodores are under the radar at 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. Play on Vanderbilt.
