Cincinnati at UCLA

UCLA has to feel good bringing Chip Kelly into the fold. Kelly has a very strong record on the NCAA Football level, and his offense is his calling card. The offense he inherited is stripped of talent as QB Josh Rosen was a 1st round NFL draft pick, and finding a replacement is not going to be easy. The offensive line will be a work in progress, as there are just two returnees. And overall, despite Kelly's previous magic working on offense, he just does not have his system in place, nor experience with his offensive style. It will take him some time to get the players into the system that fits what he does. Expect a major step back on offense for the Bruins this season. The defense has some players that will be better equipped to play out of a 3-4 set, and strides should be made on this side of the ball. Cincinnati and coach Coach Luke Fickell ranked 111th nationally on offense a year ago. Senior quarterback Hayden Moore returns, but he averaged just 6 yards an attempt on 429 passes a year ago. Both offenses lack the talent to exploit their opponent. Look for this game to play UNDER the total.
