Cincinnati at Temple

Cincinnati got a much needed win last week vs. East Carolina 31-19, but everyone has been beating up on the Pirates. In fact, while the 31 points looks big, the Pirates have allowed 38 points per game in their last five, and this was the fewest they have given up in the stretch. Cincinnati has certainly struggled offensively, averaging just 18 ppg in their four previous games, and the 31 as mentioned, was an underachieving number vs. a very bad defense. Temple has had success in their last four games running the ball, reaching 197 rushing yards or more in three of them, and I would suspect they put the ball on the ground a lot in this one. The October struggle is not new to Cincinnati, who is now 10-2 to the UNDER in their last 12 October games, as well as 9-2 to the UNDER, when coming off an UNDER in their last 11. Tuberville's teams are now 6-0 to the UNDER in their last six after making no turnovers in their previous game. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
