Cincinnati at South Florida

The South Florida Bulls and the Cincinnati Bearcats are both at 6-4, and will be Bowling after the regular season. They have identical records, but each has gotten here a different way. South Florida has been the better defensive team, while the Bearcats play fast and free. The big difference here is the Bulls have the ability to control the football with their offense, as the biggest mismatch on the field will be the Bulls running attack that has generated 5.2 yards per carry vs. a schedule of opponents that combine to allow 4.5. Cincinnati has played very little against strong run attacks, as their opponents have averaged less than four yards per carry on the season, but Cincinnati has allowed those poor running attacks to generate 4.8 yards a carry. I think the Bulls are going to shorten the game with their running attack, which will make this one challenging to get into the mid-60s. Cincinnati has not been offensively consistent, and after producing 40 or more points they have followed by going 7-1 to the UNDER in their last eight, while the Bulls own a 17-5 mark to the UNDER in their last 22 conference tilts.
