Pittsburgh walloped Wofford 45-7 and pushed as a 38-point favorite and the Terriers were held to only 126 total yards and minus-1 rushing yards. The Panthers ran for 217 yards and 13 receivers had catches for Pittsburgh and Phil Jurkovec completed 17 of 23 for 214 yards and a touchdown. Pitt's defense led the country in combined defensive TDs and pick sixes the past two years. Cincinnati clobbered Eastern Kentucky 66-13 with Emory Jones throwing for 345 yards and five TDs and Corey Kiner rushed for 105 yards on 13 carries. It will be a whole different ball game this week though as the Bearcats go up against the Pitt defense and they return only three offensive starters from 2022.
