Central Michigan at Toledo

Central Michigan came on strong last season winning seven of its final eight games topped off with a 24-21 victory over Washington State in the Sun Bowl and the Chippewas are 7-1-1 ATS their last nine games, including covering as big underdogs against Penn State on Saturday. This week they get an easier opponent as they enter MAC play and Toledo has lost two in a row to Ohio State and San Diego State and the loss to the Buckeyes was by a score of 77-21. The game versus the Aztecs is more indicative of the Rockets' ability as they still had trouble scoring, but the defense was better in the 17-14 loss and the game went UNDER by 13.5 points. CMU won last year's meeting 26-23 and the UNDER is 6-1 the past seven meetings. Central Michigan QB Daniel Richardson threw for 2,633 yards and 24 TD passes in 2021 and this season he has 1,124 passing yards and nine TDs with four interceptions. The Chippewas have covered their last four road games and Toledo is 4-11 ATS its past 15 after allowing 20 or fewer points its previous game.
