North Carolina State has opened the season at 2-1. They performed much better against Clemson last week than many expected, holding the high-powered Clemson attack to just 26 points. They are allowing just 20 points per game despite not having an interception on the season. The Wolfpack has three very winnable games before their bye week, as they have Wake Forest and Syracuse. They could find themselves heading into their bye at 5-1 and just a game shy of Bowl Game eligibility. Central Michigan is 1-3, and in their three losses the Chippewas have allowed 128 points. Central Michigan has had problems competing against winning teams where they are a woeful 2-10 ATS in their last 12. They are also 5-20-1 ATS when following an ATS loss. The Wolfpack has come roaring back following a loss, where they are 19-5-2 ATS in their last 26 following a setback. Since Dan Enos took over the helm at Central Michigan, this team is just 6-19 ATS as an underdog and dating back to the start of the 2011 season, this team is 1-10 ATS as a road dog. Play on North Carolina State.
