Central Michigan at Navy

Navy employed a bit of history with a spirit of ‘76 last week, as in 76 points vs. East Carolina. The Midshipmen are back at it again, running the triple option to perfection, producing nearly 300 yards per game. Central Michigan has been a turnover machine this season. Since playing Temple and Northwestern tough early, the Chips have lost their edge and confidence. So much so, that they lost three straight games as a double-digit favorite outright by a total of 24 points (8 per game). What I see here is an overrated team playing against a Navy team that has a peaking, well-oiled machine in their running attack right now. The Chips have not gotten a look at the Navy option, and stopping a conventional attack has been tough as they allow 154 rushing yards per game. This one doesn't match-up well for them at all. Navy is 47-26 ATS in their last 73 vs. losing teams Central Michigan is just 2-10 ATS in their last 12 aftrer back-to-back home games. I like Navy to win and cover.
