At 8-2, Central Florida leads the C-USA East and will play the West leader, Tulsa here. Regardless of the outcome of this game, it is likely that these teams will meet in the C-USA Championship game as well. A win for Central Florida ensures they host the Championship game, while Tulsa with a win isn't guaranteed that they will play host. Tulsa has been dominating C-USA play and will have extreme confidence as their only loss in their last 18 conference games was to Case Keenum and the No. 7 Houston Cougars. The challenge here for Central Florida is whether or not their stout defense can handle a top-level Tulsa offense that produces points in bunches at 37.2 points per game. If they can't, they are in trouble with their somewhat pedestrian offense. Tulsa’s QB Cody Green was 4-0 at Nebraska before coming to Tulsa, and is now 11-2 overall. The Golden Hurricane has too many receivers, and can spread out the Knight's defense, which I think will be the difference here. The Knights are now just 1-9 ATS after allowing less than 170 passing yards in their previous game. Tulsa has come up big at home at 9-1 TS vs. a team with a winning road record. Tulsa gets the call.
